The Transition Institute 1.5, together with the ETSAP (Energy Technology Systems Analysis Program) and the CMA Mines Paris – PSL, are organising an Autumn School, from Monday 6 November to Saturday 11 November 2023, at the Pierre Laffite campus in Sophia Antipolis (Nice).
The theme of this international Autumn School will be “Prospective Modeling and Climate Change: Energy & Water issues”. All teaching will be in English. This Autumn School will include general lectures, presenting the challenges of prospective modeling, issues relating to energy systems and the link between water and energy. Some lectures will also be devoted to the presentation of the TIMES family of models. The conferences will present different countries’ perspectives on long-term energy and climate issues. Speakers will focus on the relevance of the challenges linked to the water-energy nexus.
